Athina Spakouri was born in Lesvos, Northern east Greece. She studied Law and holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy. Having graduated from the Greek National School of Public Administration, she served in several high-skilled positions, throughout her 25-years- old career as public officer. Her expertise is mainly focused on legislative and management issues. Since 2010 she has been appointed as Head of Directorate of Administration of the Greek National Tourism Organization (GNTO). On 2016 took office as Deputy Head of General Directorate of Promotion. She imparts her working experience to public servants by being trainer at the Institute of Training (INEP) and having published reports on public sector’s issues. Athina Spakouri speaks English. She is married with two children.
